The Laugh Doctors of the Theodora Foundation in Spain go to hospitals and try to ease the pain of children with laugh therapy. They visit the children on an individual basis, and get them involved in activities so as to they forget for a little while their ailments. All of the ‘Doctors’ are experienced actors and artists when they apply for a coveted spot in the organization, and then they go through training, such as how to deal with different situations and also child psychology. Once they are certified they continue to train on a regular basis, so they can continue to evolve and help the children.
