Visiting small town county fairs for the first time, I was taken in immediately by the traditions of agriculture, animal husbandry, fair rides and greasy fair food. These images show part of my Americana experience as I’ve began focusing my lens on traditional American values and lifestyles, once forgotten in the internet age but making a comeback as American families struggle with a collapsing economy and search for the simple pleasures in life.
