Ken Baran, Petty Officer 3rd class Interior Communications, served in the navy during the Vietnam war. He was part of the river boat missions in Saigon and was taken prisoner of war. He is also a husband, ex-husband, father, stepfather, former Lieutenant firefighter, nurse’s aide, recovering alcoholic, cook, and caregiver. He now lives at the Rocky Hill Veteran’s home in CT.
